Paz's diary 1:
Paz makes fun of MSF for buying her story and allowing her to stay on Mother-Base. Silly Kaz particularly.
She talks about how soldiers were taking care of cat and asked her to give it a name. She pretended to be interested and called it "Nuke".
Paz's diary 2:
Paz goes fishing with some of the soldiers (Chico's idea). She says that she's treated like a princess, and nobody suspects she's not a student and not even a teenager (so you have your confirmation right there than Paz is actually older than 19).
Paz obvious ends up enjoying the whole thing, catches a fish (not quite as big as she'd hoped) and gives it to Nuke.
Paz's diary 3:
Paz confirms that she's the one who allowed Zadornov (Galvez) to escape.
She talks about giving cooking lessons to Cécile with Amanda. It's about making Gallo Pinto and Paz has to pretend she knows the recipe fairly well, despite the fact she was raised in the States for as far as she could remember (she does mention that her mother used to cook gallo pinto, but that was way too long ago).
Amanda talks a bit about her own mother. Cécile gives love advices to Amanda.
Paz is asked is she loves Snake ("he sure is sexy", says Cécile), Paz replied "maybe so" but denies in her diary. She doesn't have time for stuff like that.
Nuke gets in the kitchens, but Gallo Pinto isn't exactly for cats. The soldiers sure loved it though. And Snake too, Paz remarks. Not that she likes him or anything, really!
Paz's diary 4:
This one is about soccer. MSF has two teams (Costa Rica and Nicaragua), and Huey acts as the referee. One of the players get wounded a fight is about to start, and Huey breaks it up by quoting Snake and claiming soccer is a sport of peace.
Paz ends up replacing the player. Chico encourages her despite the fact she's on the Costa Rica team. Naturally, despite her claims to the contrary, she obviously ended up enjoying the game. And no, she's not bitter at all about the fact she couldn't score and her team lost. Not. One. Bit.
Paz's diary 5:
Paz is in her swimsuit and enjoying the sun on the deck when Strangelove comes around and starts hitting on her. She gives her advice about taking care of her skin. Paz admits she needs to think about that, since she's supposed to look young anough to be a teenager. Strangelove just happens to have some lotion on her, and she... well, I think you know where this is going.
Paz is too surprised to do anything about it (and comments that Strangelove sure looks beautiful, for someone who's "more then 10 years older" than she is... that gives us some idea about Paz's real age), but she was trained, so she could protect herself against this "dangerous woman" if need be.
Paz's diary 6:
Paz caught a cold and has to stay in bed for a few days. She's used to being alone, but wished she had someone to talk to, someone who could understand her (Nuke the Cat she really don't care about, remember, is with her).
She gets visits from Amanda, Chico, Huey, Cécile, Kaz and some soldiers she knew. Amanda cooked her some soup.
Chico gave her a flower (she's pretty sure he's in love with her).
Miller brought his guitar sang her a Japanese lullaby (he sucks, she says). He laso tries to give her suppository, and that doesn't end well.
Strangelove tries the same kind of stuff. Poor Paz. Being a spy can be quite difficult.
Snake shows up as well. When asked about how he came to leave America and create MSF, he replies that his country abandoned him because fighting is all he knows, which is also why he needed MSF. Paz thinks they're bit alike. But that's also why she'll probably have to kill him or die trying, in the end.
Paz's diary 7:
This one's about the birthday parties that Snake and Kaz throw for their soldiers once per month. Basically, no cakes or anything but lotta booze!
Paz notices that there are very few fights, and wonders if it's because of Snake's charisma or the fact the soldiers don't have much reasons to fight between themselves anymore now that they're without Countries.
Kaz gets awfully drunk and starts stripping ("look at the real me", he says while mooning...)
Paz thinks back and realizes her life has never been so peaceful before. But she knows it won't last. Big Boss probably won't accept her offer, and she'll have to fight him.
We learn that Paz is an orphan and owes her life to 'Cipher'. And even if she doesn't necessarily agree with Cipher's orders, she thinks she has to obey, as betraying that organization would mean a "fate worse than death".
Paz's diary 8:
Kaz is apparently is a womanizer (but he leaves Paz alone, maybe because she's supposed to be a teenager and that's too young for him, she speculates).
He apparently started dating two MSF girls at the same time, and Snake heard about it ('wasn't the first time either'). This leads to a full fledged fight between the two in the showers. Naturally, the fight ends when they're both exhausted and they start laughing like mad men.
Paz doesn't quite understand and realizes there's no way she could get between those two. (and yes, they were completely naked during the whole fight, this one was for the yaoi lovers, I guess... equality!)
Paz's diary 9:
Snake and Kaz decided to throw a party once a year, a "peace day". Kaz heard Paz sing once, so he'd like to form a band with her and Zadornov ("Because our names all mean peace and everything!").
Paz says she didn't have the time to decline: the whole thing is pretty much decided already. Besides, if she doesn't sing, Kaz will, and nobody wants that.
Thing is, she's done modifying Metal Gear Zeke. It's time.
Still, she thinks about lying to Cipher to postpone the whole thing until after the party (awww).
Paz's diary 10:
Cipher learned that Metal Gear Zeke was completed. Paz speculates they have another spy on Mother-Base.
There were only three more days until the party (Kaz had alreay written the song for Paz, and she's had a few rehearsals... yes, it's that song 'Love Deterrence').
Paz decides to sabotage Metal Gear Zeke to postpone the whole thing anyway, but she's witnessed by Chico while in the hangar.
Chico flees the scene and Paz can't shoot him in the back. But he's going to tell somebody and Paz can't have that, especially if Cipher hears about it.
So she decides to go ahead and activate Zeke right there and then.(and yes, she's crying toward the end), you know the rest (Paz is the true final boss).
